Role Description: This Senior Tax Accountant role is based in the Wichita, Kansas Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, analyzing financial statements, and supporting accounting operations. The Senior Tax Accountant will also provide expert guidance on complex tax matters and contribute to the financial success of clients by ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Qualifications: Expertise in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Income Tax knowledge (5+ years experience)Experience in analyzing and preparing Financial Statements (5+ years experience)Strong skills in Accounting and applying accounting principles (5+ years experience)Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA or EA certification is preferred Proficiency in accounting software tools and Microsoft Office Suite Prior experience in a public accounting firm or tax environment is advantageous
