About the role
Electrical Engineer — Plant Power & ReliabilityDIZARIO Search is conducting a search for an Electrical Engineer for our client, an established industrial manufacturer whose products serve demanding markets worldwide. Based in western Pennsylvania, this direct-hire opportunity offers a competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits, and meaningful ownership of the plant’s electrical systems. You’ll work on the power infrastructure that keeps the operation running—improving reliability, solving recurring electrical problems, and leading upgrades from planning through startup. It’s a role where your engineering decisions will have a visible impact on the plant every day. Maintain and improve plant power distribution systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, and motors. Troubleshoot electrical failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions that improve reliability. Develop and manage electrical capital projects and plant upgrades, including scope, budgets, schedules, installation, and startup. Provide engineering support for major outages, equipment rebuilds, and long-term infrastructure planning. Work with maintenance and operations to improve equipment performance while meeting safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. At least three years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing plant. Hands-on experience with industrial power distribution and medium- or high-voltage equipment. Experience improving plant electrical reliability and delivering electrical upgrades or capital projects.
