Expert Senior Manager, Data Sciences, Software and Data Services, Coro

Overview As Expert Senior Manager, you will lead data science delivery for Coro’s SaaS/DaaS products within Bain’s Commercial Excellence practice. You’ll set analytical approaches on complex engagements, guide on-shore and off-shore teams, and defend methodologies to client executives. You’ll shape production ML solutions and GenAI-enabled workflows that power go-to-market analytics, pricing, and market opportunity insights. This role combines hands-on modeling with strategic leadership to scale repeatable analytics across client engagements. Compensation / Benefitsmedical, dental and vision coveragefully vested 401(k) company contributiongenerous paid time off including parental leave and holidayslife and long-term disability insurancediscretionary performance bonuswellness program Responsibilities Lead multiple client engagements with scope, methodology, quality, and pace, intervening when needed Collaborate with Bain case teams and client executives to translate commercial problems into analytical approaches Develop and deploy production ML and analytical models (propensity scoring, TAM, market sizing, segmentation, entity resolution)Own analytics and delivery of Coro's pricing products (Profit Cube)Set technical direction for GenAI-enabled workflows, including prompt design and evaluation standards Develop Coro IP and modularize repeatable analyses into reusable frameworks Shape product roadmap with product managers and practice leadership Lead and mentor on-shore/off-shore delivery teams, fostering problem-solving and feedback Stay current with data science advances and share learnings across Coro and the wider team Lead recruiting and onboarding to support growth and scaling of Coro Key requirements Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., CS, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics)8-10 years of analytics experience 3+ years of experience managing data scientists Shipped production, enterprise-scale data products Experience in B2B commercial or go-to-market analytics Strong communication skills to explain ML concepts to diverse audiences Solid knowledge of supervised/unsupervised ML (classifiers, clustering, regression, NLP, embeddings, transformers)Experience with entity resolution and deduplication across third-party sources Experience with large language models and prompt engineering in data classification/enrichment Experience with MLOps and scalable data science workflows Python and SQL proficiency; ML frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, pandas, Num Py)ETL, data pipelines, relational databases at scale Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Visualization tools (Tableau)Preferred: MBA or PhD; consulting/B2B analytics background; pricing/profitability analytics; SaaS/DaaS deployments Strong leadership and coaching Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams Client-facing communication and storytelling PythonSQLscikit-learn
