About the role

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics In Albuquerque, NM, Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics is currently seeking a General Anesthesia Assistant to provide excellent, high-quality care to patients at a pediatric dental practice and outpatient surgery center, including sedation/surgery. This position will report to the Specialty Services Manager.
Pay range: $21.00-$27.00/hr (PLUS BONUS OPPORTUNITY)
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the team with a smooth flow of anesthesia support services
  • Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
  • Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
  • Travel as needed to assist with anesthesia services
Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc. Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
Job Qualifications:
  • Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
  • Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
  • Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
  • Current BLS CPR certification
