About the role
Sun Valley Ticket Checker The Sun Valley Ticket Checker is often one of the first team members to welcome guests to the mountain. This guest-facing role is responsible for scanning lift tickets and passes, answering questions, and helping manage lift lines to ensure a safe, smooth, and friendly guest experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Scan lift tickets and season passes to confirm validity. Redirect guests with invalid or missing passes to the nearest ticketing location. Monitor and maintain an organized, safe flow in lift lines. Provide resort information and answer guest questions with confidence and courtesy. Assist with other duties as assigned to support mountain operations.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to creating a positive guest experience. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (snow, cold, wind, sun, etc.)Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching. Can regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work varying a schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
