Job Summary: This position will provide management guidance, direction, and technical support to Veeva Vault Specialist(s) who in turn provide Veeva Vault support to internal and external stakeholders. Closely work with clients on gathering requirements and providing solutions through the work of specialists. Responsible for maintaining project timelines, deliverables and production releases as per pre-defined business rules. Will direct and oversee the development of strategic solutions for clients while ensuring the prompt and proper implementation of all developed solutions through his department sources and in collaboration with the technical support services within the company

Primary Responsibilities:

Hire and train Veeva Vault Specialists as needed.
Work with business users to identify and develop processes and procedures for Veeva Vault Systems.
Interact with Business Analysts for requirement gathering and provide effort estimation for any and all projects assigned to his team.
Act as Vault Subject Matter Expert in recommending enhancements in technical function/business utility.
Take full responsibility for submissions management, review and archiving processes and procedures related to all Veeva Vault design and development activities assigned to his team.
Ensure that all system security and control procedures are implemented and maintained.
Adhere to all Conexus ISMS (information security management system) policies.
Provide periodic project status reports to the Director of the Veeva Vault Services.
Understand submission standards and impact of these standards in regulatory activities.
Analysis and deployment of new product releases.
Maintenance of production and sandbox environments.
Maintain current technical knowledge of the Veeva Vault platform.
Work closely with the Director of Veeva Vault Services to solve issues and communicate resolutions.
Provide post-go-live administrative support.
Manage and supervise Veeva Vault Solution Specialists
Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong understanding of SaaS applications.
Ability to focus on and achieve scheduled milestones, including contingency planning
