Job Description: Operations Specialist In the Operations Specialist Role, the below tasks and responsibilities are expected to be completed on a daily basis: *Tracking and Tracing all freight claimed to the operator’s respective job operator initials 2-3 weeks from ETA date. *Ensuring accruals (cost and revenue) are protected within 48 hours of ETD date. *Processing Freight 3-5 days prior to arrival date (ocean) and 24-48 hours prior to arrival date (air). This includes sending arrival notices, dispatch, etc. per respective terms. *Following all client’s SOPs in regards to processing and EDI efforts. *Completing billing within 3-5 days of POD date or ATA depending on the terms. *Updating operator notes within CW on a daily basis to provide visibility of current working status within the shipment. *Sending timely freight payment requests to appropriate AP team for approval. *Ensuring freight releases are obtained timely. *Pulling reports on a daily basis to mitigate missing performance KPIs. *Escalating matters timely to appropriate contacts. *Utilizing the USBPO team to assist with any delay notifications/ data integrity input within CW.
