About the role
Advising on strategy and implementation for the Army's Modular Open System Approach (MOSA), the full-time MOSA Architect with Clearance will leverage Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to enhance interoperability and flexibility in Army systems while working in a hybrid or remote environment.
Key responsibilitiesAdvise on strategy and policy translation for MOSA implementation across the acquisition enterprise
Diagnose barriers to MOSA adoption and develop practical approaches to overcome them
Translate senior-level policy intent into actionable guidance for the acquisition community and provide technical direction to developmental personnelRequired qualificationsBS/MS in Systems, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical experience
10+ years in Systems Engineering or Data Architecture with a focus on Architecture Patterns
Deep familiarity with ISO/IEC 15288 and DoD 5000 series acquisition policies
Experience with MBSE tools such as No Magic Cameo or IBM Rational Rhapsody
Active Secret clearance
