About the role

A well-established, family-oriented organization is seeking an Office Coordinator to join its Milwaukee team on a temp to hire basis. This is a highly customer-facing position that will serve as an important point of contact for customers while also coordinating schedules and providing administrative support across the organization. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, empathetic, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. This role is 100% onsite Monday through Friday with hours of 7:30am to 4pm or 8am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities: Provide friendly, professional customer service by phone and email Serve as backup for the company's main phone line and appropriately route incoming calls Coordinate and schedule work with internal departments and team members Communicate with customers regarding scheduling and service needs Create invoices for time-and-materials work; prior accounting experience is not required Track temporary labor and maintain related administrative records Provide administrative support to leadership and other departments Maintain accurate information and documentation within company systems Assist with special projects and other office needs as assigned Help ensure smooth communication between customers, field teams, and internal departments
Qualifications: Previous customer service, office coordination, administrative, or related experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Empathetic and professional approach to customer interactions Ability to remain calm and helpful when working with customers experiencing stressful situations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple requests and shift between responsibilities throughout the day Comfortable learning new systems and processes Reliable and able to work effectively in a fully onsite environment Prior invoicing experience is helpful but not required
