About the role
Job Title Follows ALL PPE & Safety requirements for the area. Lift truck small adjustments to machinery to inform a steady flow of pallets at the end of the line for stacking. Keep track of scrap slabs. Always keep the work area clean. Keep accurate count of stacking count. Keep up with finished pallets. Input data quality checks. Properly enter all quality information into the computer. Cross train when necessary. May be asked to train other quality issues to the lead & supervisor. Make pallet labels. Have a positive attitude. Work as a team. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.
Requirements:
Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office Effective problem-solving skills. High School diploma or GEDAbility to cross train and perform additional duties as needed. Experience in LVT/LVP/SPC/PVC industry preferred. Ability to perform basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction. Ability to work in an environment that is noisy. Ability to perform specific duties with instructions but without direct supervision. Ability to communicate in standard English to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and to keep simple records and make reports. Qualities Focused Hands-on, technically inclined Organized Detail oriented Great positive attitude.
