Patient Transportation Driver

About the Role: As a Patient Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for: Safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other outings Ensuring the comfort and safety of residents during transportation Maintaining accurate records of transportation trips and resident information Collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination Adhering to driving and transportation policies and procedures

Responsibilities: Drive company vehicles to transport residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other outings Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition Maintain accurate records of transportation trips, including resident information and any incidents that may occur Communicate with the care team and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination and care Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families Adhere to driving and transportation policies and procedures

Requirements: CPR Certification preferred, or willing to obtain Prior experience in a healthcare or transportation setting preferred Valid driver's license Ability to work varying schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
