Machine Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionAre you a hands-on maintenance technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and keeping production running smoothly? We're hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility where mechanical and electrical skills are key to success. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and confident working with a variety of equipment and systems.Responsibilities:Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime Working with PLCs, VFDs, motors, gearboxes, and electrical control systems Diagnosing issues with sensors, relays, panels, breakers, and timers Maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems Using tools such as multimeters to test and verify equipment performance Supporting preventative maintenance efforts to keep machines operating efficiently Requirements:Previous experience in industrial maintenance machine or repair requiredStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems Ability to work either day or night shift as needed Safety-focused mindset with strong reliability and attention to detail Must be able to pass background check and drug test Schedule:Week 1: Tue, Wed, Sat, SunWeek 2: Mon, Thu, FriAM Shift: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM PM Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM PayRate:$20 - $27/Hour LocationSan Antonio, TX 78226 ABOUT US:FirstOption Workforce Solutions exists to help people build better lives and we sincerely appreciate your interest in joining our team.
