Role: Transcriptionist (CM Manhattan)
Location: Long Island City, NY Duration: Indefinite Job ID #: P601Pay Rate: 26.17 Explain the function(s) to be performed by the requested staff member: The Secretary (Transcriptionist) will be assigned to CM Manhattan and will attend job progress meetings held for any in-house projects. The assignee will take and prepare minutes for each job progress meeting, enter the minutes into CM13 and Kahua, and maintain a record of the information entered. The assignee will be required to travel between job sites as necessary, at least 2-3 times a weekwhile reporting to SCA Headquarters. Must be computer literate, detail-oriented, a good listener, with the ability to take accurate notes. Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance. Construction background desired and/or is helpful. Must have a valid driver’s license. High School diploma or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities: Attend construction project progress meetings and accurately record meeting minutes. Prepare, maintain, and enter meeting minutes into internal client systems. Maintain organized records and documentation of all meeting activities. Travel to project sites as needed (typically 2–3 times per week) while reporting to Client's Headquarters.
Required Qualifications: Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills. Excellent listening, note-taking, and attention-to-detail abilities. Professional demeanor and appearance. Valid driver's license. High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior construction industry experience or familiarity with construction projects.
