PMMC is committed to delivering innovative technology and strategic guidance to help providers successfully navigate these challenges.About The RoleThe Manager, Account Management Leader is responsible for building and leading a high-performing Client Performance organization that delivers exceptional client outcomes through proactive portfolio management, strategic client engagement, and operational excellence. This leader develops Client Performance Managers into trusted advisors, drives accountability across client portfolios, and partners cross-functionally to maximize client retention, utilization, and long-term growth. As the organization scales, the role evolves from a working manager into a second-level leader responsible for the overall health and performance of the Client Performance function.Responsibilities:Lead and Develop the Client Performance Team by coaching, mentoring, and holding Client Performance Managers accountable for performance, professional growth, and execution.Own Portfolio Health by proactively measuring client health, utilization, risks, and strategic priorities to ensure successful client outcomes and long-term retention.Drive Business Review Excellence by ensuring Business Reviews are completed on time, strategically focused, executive-ready, and deliver measurable value to clients.Lead Portfolio Execution by participating in Portfolio Huddles, removing barriers, and ensuring accountability for action plans across all client portfolios.Manage Client Escalations and Cross-Functional Coordination by leading high-impact client issues and partnering with Client Support, SRE, Product, Data Health, PMO, and other departments to achieve timely resolution.Optimize Client Adoption and Retention by developing strategies that increase platform utilization, strengthen executive relationships, reduce client risk, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.Own Client Performance Metrics by monitoring team performance, analyzing trends, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring accountability for Business Review quality, client utilization, issue resolution, and client retention.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field2+ years of relevant professional experience, including demonstrated success in taking ownership of complex initiatives, collaborating across teams, and developing others through coaching or mentorship. Strong analytical, technical, and project management skills; SQL and Microsoft Project experience a plusDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives by partnering with Product, Operations, Technology, and other business units to resolve complex client challenges and improve operational outcomes.Strong analytical and business acumen, with experience interpreting operational metrics, identifying trends, developing action plans, and driving measurable improvements in client satisfaction, retention, utilization, or operational performance.Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to coach leaders, facilitate strategic business discussions, manage client escalations, and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.What We Look ForA strategic leader who thrives on driving client outcomes, scaling operations, and developing high-performing teams.Why Join PMMCPMMC offers a dynamic, growth-focused environment where innovation and teamwork drive success.
