About the role
Programmer Analyst Using discretion and judgment, the Junior programmer analyst will collaborate with the Compliance Technology and Data team in strategic and tactical technology initiatives. This role will function as a key programmer in the department's automation initiatives and data analysis/reporting initiatives.
Principal Responsibilities:
20% Business Requirement Analysis Understanding business requirements Documentation (MS Word, Power Point, Visio)40% Coding/Development Python Web/GUI technologiesSQLTableau Share Point 30% Testing and Implementation Creating test cases Unit testing Assist in QA10% Project Coordination Coordination with IT teams Create and maintain documentation
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in IT related fields (Computer Science, Software Engineering etc.) Strong Python development skills 5+ years' work experience in Python, SQL/Databases and Web/GUI technologies Knowledgeable in Share Point and MS Excel Familiarity with building data visualization dashboards using Tableau. Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technology and apply it to achieve business objectives. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels in the organization. Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and willingness to understand the business, legal and compliance implications of a wide variety of data.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in Asset Management industry. Experience in developing automation solutions.
