Whatnot Customer Service & Operations Coordinator Unique Designs, Inc. — Secaucus, NJ Salary: $40,000–$50,000 per year Unique Designs, Inc. is seeking an energetic, highly organized, and solutions-oriented Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to support our growing Whatnot live-selling business. This is a hands-on, in-office role for someone who can manage customer concerns quickly and professionally while keeping pace with a fast-moving livestream commerce environment. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with exceptionally strong written and spoken English, sound judgment, and the ability to manage several priorities at once without losing attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-service matters arising through the Whatnot platform. Respond to customer questions, order concerns, shipping issues, returns, cancellations, and post-sale requests promptly and professionally. Investigate issues thoroughly; coordinate with the livestream, fulfillment, inventory, sales, and management teams to reach timely resolutions. Monitor customer messages, feedback, ratings, and recurring concerns to identify service trends and opportunities for improvement. Maintain clear, accurate records of customer cases, actions taken, and final resolutions. Help ensure compliance with Whatnot policies, customer-service standards, and company procedures. Assist with operational support before, during, and after live shows as needed, including managing urgent customer issues in a high-volume setting. Escalate sensitive, high-value, or unresolved matters appropriately and provide recommended solutions. Contribute ideas that improve response times, customer satisfaction, and the overall buyer experience.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential. Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. A natural problem solver with good judgment, patience, and a customer-first mindset. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live-commerce or e-commerce environment. Strong attention to detail, especially when handling orders, customer records, and product-related concerns. Proficient with email, messaging platforms, spreadsheets, and standard office software. Prior customer service, e-commerce, marketplace, retail, fulfillment, or livestream-commerce experience is preferred. Experience with Whatnot, Tik Tok Shop, eBay, Shopify, or a comparable online selling platform is a plus.
