The Department of Physics at The University of Texas at Austininvites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Cosmology and related areas at the rank of Assistant Professor, tobegin in Fall 2027. The successful candidate will be a member of the Texas Center for Cosmology & Astroparticle Physics (TCCAP) within the Weinberg Institute for Theoretical Physics, joining a vibrant researchcommunity with opportunities for collaboration within the Weinberg Institute (the Center for Gravitational Physics, the High Energy Physics Theory Group), the Department of Astronomy, and the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences. UT Austinalso hosts the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), home to someof the world's most powerful supercomputing resources.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Ph. D. in Physics or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
