The hours of the training will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST from Monday - Friday.Primary ResponsibilitiesAnswers 50 - 70 calls from patients, resolving moderate to complex issuesSchedule and verify appointments in clinical information systemVerify and update patient demographic and insurance informationSend and receive tasks to Provider offices to assist patient with access to medical careReceive and process; expedite stat and at-risk referralsContact patients to inform of appointment and referral statusExtreme high volume data entryProcess and resolve expedited patient complaintsReview and processing of medication refillsProactive response to inquiries from patients, Providers, and internal medical personnelOther duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experienceMust be 18 years of age OR older1+ years of experience with electronic medical record systems1+ years of experience with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applicationsExperience with working in healthcare setting (Doctor's office, acute / long term care facilities, medical insurance company)Ability to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST from Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.Preferred Qualifications1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job toolsExperience with EpicThe hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment.
