Substitute Teacher

Reports To: Principal

Duties and Responsibilities: Follows time schedule of assigned school. Performs extra duties as may be assigned for the regular teacher. Conducts classes as prepared by the regular teacher's lesson plans. Prepares any necessary records and reports accurately as may be required. Maintains discipline under the guidance of the principal. Supervises students during all activities as required by the principal. Prepares and leaves for the regular teachers a brief report of day's activities. Participates in all Professional Development Activities, faculty meetings and other assigned duties and responsibilities at the assigned home school. Obtains necessary information concerning extracurricular duties, faculty meeting attendance, and other functions that may be required. Confers with the regular teacher prior to his/her returning concerning the activities accomplished during this period. Performs other duties as assigned.
