Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid
Schedule: On-site Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire Start: ASAPRED Global is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a large enterprise environment spanning data centers, colocation facilities, Azure cloud, WAN, campus/LAN, wireless, and network security infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on implementation, operations, Tier 3 troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of enterprise network and connectivity services.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide senior-level operational support and Tier 3 troubleshooting across enterprise network, connectivity, security, and Azure cloud environments• Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, routing, VPNs, certificates, authentication, logging, and high availability• Design, configure, and support Azure networking and Cisco Catalyst/Meraki switching• Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, VRFs, STP, HSRP, QoS, redundant paths, iBGP, eBGP, EIGRP, and TCP/IP• Administer DNS, DHCP, IP address management, subnetting, segmentation, and related network services• Support remote-access and site-to-site VPN environments, including Zscaler and Global Protect• Troubleshoot complex network incidents across data center, branch, WAN, Internet edge, and cloud environments• Support network implementations, maintenance, site surveys, and other infrastructure initiatives
Required Qualifications: • 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience• Senior-level experience supporting complex production network environments• Strong routing and switching knowledge• Hands-on firewall and network security experience• Experience troubleshooting enterprise connectivity and network incidents• Ability to work on-site in downtown Chicago Tuesday through Thursday
Preferred Experience: • Palo Alto firewalls and Global Protect• Cisco Catalyst• Cisco Meraki• Microsoft Azure networking• Zscaler• BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, VRFs, VLANs, STP, and QoS• DNS, DHCP, IPAM, subnetting, and network segmentation Some travel to satellite offices may be required for site surveys, implementations, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Work Authorization: Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents. Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
