Key Responsibilities:

(may include but not limited to):Perform routine and emergency maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, instrumentation, and mechanical systems throughout the plant
Troubleshoot and repair process equipment with minimal downtime
Maintain and inspect critical systems, including those involved with handling liquid chlorine, ferrous chloride, and ferric chloride
Perform preventative maintenance tasks
Assist with equipment installations, piping modifications, and shutdown/start-up activities as assigned
Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including building repairs, lighting, plumbing, and grounds upkeep to ensure a safe and functional work environment
Uphold the fundamentals of the Nicholson Nine and Responsible Care Guiding principles. Environmental, Health, Safety and Security are a responsibility of every PVS employee
Physical requirements needed:
Ability to lift 50 pounds with ease
Ability to work at elevated heights
Required Education/Training/Equivalent Experience:
Valid driver's license - requiredPIT license - experience preferred
Manlift license - experience preferred 0 - 5 years of building/equipment maintenance related experience
High School Diploma
Familiar with problem solving techniques
Willing to learn
Positive attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to be on callOJT (Required within the initial employment period-varies per position and experience):Knowledgeable of all facility departments and specific functions
Knowledgeable of building emergency and security procedures
