Inventory ClerkPositionSummary The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting inventory control processes within the organization. This role monitors stock levels, performs inventory transactions, conducts cycle counts, andhelpsensurematerialsandproductsarereceived, stored, andissuedaccurately. TheInventoryClerkworkscloselywithoperations, purchasing, warehouse, andmanagementteamstosupportefficientinventorymanagementandmaintaindataintegrity. KeyResponsibilitiesInventoryManagementMaintainaccurateinventoryrecordsandensuredataisupdatedpromptlyandaccurately. Monitorinventorylevelsandreportshortages, discrepancies, oroverstocksituations. Performroutinecyclecountsandassistwithphysicalinventoryaudits. Investigateandresolveinventoryvariances. Trackinventorymovements, transfers, adjustments, andstocktransactions. Receivingand ShippingSupportVerifyincomingshipmentsagainstpurchaseordersandreceivingdocumentation. Recordandprocessinventoryreceiptsininventorymanagementsystems. Assistwiththepreparationandverificationofoutboundshipments. Ensureproductsandmaterialsareproperlylabeledandstored. Coordinatewithvendors, carriers, andinternaldepartmentsregardinginventory-relatedissues. Data EntryandRecordkeepingEnterinventorytransactionsintoinventorymanagementsoftwareorenterprisesystems. Maintainaccuraterecordsofstockmovements, receipts, returns, andadjustments. Generateinventoryreportsandprovideinventorydatatomanagementasrequested. Organizeandmaintaininventorydocumentationandrecords. Inventory ControlAssistinimplementinginventorycontrolproceduresandbestpractices. Monitorstocklocationsandensureproperstorageandorganizationofmaterials. Identifydamaged, obsolete, expired, orexcessinventoryandreportfindings. Supportcompliancewithcompanypolicies, procedures, andinventorystandards. Helpmaintaininventoryaccuracyandoperationalefficiency. General SupportCollaboratewithwarehouse, purchasing, production, andoperationsteams. Assistwithinventory-relatedprojectsandprocessimprovements. Supportsafetyandhousekeepingstandardswithinstorageandwarehouseareas. Performotherdutiesasassignedtosupportinventoryandoperationalgoals.
Qualifications: EducationHighschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired.
Associatedegreein: Business, SupplyChain, Logistics, orarelatedfieldpreferred. Experience1-3yearsofinventory, warehouse, logistics, clerical, orrelatedexperiencepreferred. Experienceusinginventorymanagement, warehousemanagement, orERPsystemsisaplus. Skillsand
Competencies: Strongattentiontodetailandaccuracy. Excellentorganizationalandtime-managementskills. Proficiencyin MicrosoftOffice, particularly Excel. Abilitytoperformdataentrywithahighdegreeofaccuracy. Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills. Effectiveverbalandwrittencommunicationabilities. Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelyinateamenvironment. Basicunderstandingofinventorycontrolandwarehouseoperations.
Working: ConditionsWorkmaybeperformedinanoffice, warehouse, distributioncenter, manufacturingfacility, orretailenvironment. Frequentstanding, walking, bending, andliftingmayberequired. Mayberequiredtomovematerialsandperformphysicalinventorycounts. Useofcomputers, inventoryscanners, andwarehouseequipmentmayberequired.
