The Mission: The Production Scheduler is the Picasso behind the scenes, turning chaos into orders and deadlines into standing ovations. You are the central conductor of our production scheduling processes, orchestrating a seamless flow of tasks with precision, time management, and finesse. Defining the Role: Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with various internal departments to guide processes and align schedules & priorities. Daily Communication: Maintain continuous contact with various team members every day to log, track and provide status on active jobs. Proactive Problem Solving: Identify operational roadblocks early and deploy contingency plans to mitigate delays. Systems & Data Entry: Leverage computer systems & programs comfortably to update schedules, process job details, and track line progress. Adaptable Operations: Perform other administrative or operational duties as assigned to support team success.
What Success Looks Like: Data & Entry Accuracy: Timely and accurate daily job entries into systems & schedules with minimal scheduling conflicts. Customer Satisfaction: Positive feedback regarding scheduling, lead times & job communication timeliness. Workflow Efficiency: Minimal downtime or bottleneck delays through proactive contingency planning.
