About the role
Account Executive About the RoleOur client is seeking an Account Executive to drive cybersecurity and IT sales across Federal civilian agencies. You'll own agency relationships, build new business, and deliver multi-vendor security solutions alongside OEM partners and solution engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow relationships with CIO, CISO, program, and acquisition stakeholders across assigned civilian agencies
- Identify, qualify, and close new business across cybersecurity solutions, including identity, Zero Trust, endpoint, cloud, and OT security
- Partner with OEM sales teams, solution engineers, and channel partners to design and position solutions
- Navigate Federal procurement through contract vehicles such as GSA, NASA SEWP, and agency-specific vehicles
- Build and manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and exceed quota
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Federal technology sales, with a strong preference for value-added reseller experience
- Proven success selling cybersecurity or IT solutions to Federal civilian agencies
- Established relationships within DHS, VA, HHS, or other civilian agencies
- Working knowledge of Federal contract vehicles and the reseller, distributor, and OEM ecosystem
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Active security clearance a plus
- Based in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area, with the ability to meet customers onsite as needed
