Role Description: The Senior Manager, Inventory & Supply Planning is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role oversees end-to-end inventory and supply planning for Speks’ product portfolio, ensuring the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities. Day-to-day responsibilities include forecasting demand, managing inventory levels across channels, coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners, and optimizing replenishment strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. The Senior Manager will analyze sales and operational data, develop planning models, and present insights to leadership to support decision-making. This role also collaborates closely with product, finance, operations, and customer service teams to align supply plans with business goals, new product launches, and customer experience standards.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong inventory control and inventory management skills, with experience overseeing multi-location or multi-channel product flows. Candidates should possess advanced analytical skills, including proficiency with data analysis tools and the ability to translate insights into actionable supply and inventory plans. Candidates should possess excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Candidates should possess a customer service mindset, ensuring inventory and supply decisions support a reliable, high-quality customer experience. Relevant qualifications include several years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or operations management, preferably in consumer products or retail. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with ERP or inventory management systems, strong Excel skills, and a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field. Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, manage multiple priorities, and continuously improve processes in a growing, fast-paced environment.
