DescriptionPosition OverviewAutomus is seeking an Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Consultant with 10+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud. The role involves leading cross functional discussions at various levels with client business users to analyze requirements, brainstorm, and articulate solutions and recommend industry best practices to stakeholders. This role is responsible for documenting a gap analysis against standard Oracle functional flows and providing a solution using both standard and customized solutions. The role will document, configure, test, demonstrate and teach end users in the final solution throughout the implementation life cycle including support at go-live.Essential Consulting DutiesClear understanding of the implementation life cycle using Oracle CloudUnderstand and document business requirements through client interviews and other researchWork with client to develop and document business solutions, ensuring that business requirements are metCreate design and configuration documentation for modules being implementedConfigure Oracle Cloud modules based on design requirementsActively contribute to established implementation methodology around RAID logs and any other methods to document risks, actions, issues, and dependencies for the overall projectHelp solution, document and test technical enhancements to Cloud including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows (RICEW)Prepare training materials and work instructions to help teach and jointly test the delivered solutionsPrepare and present updates and other presentation materials to internal teams, client teams and executive leadershipLeadership DutiesAct in a functional lead capacity, responsible for implementing multiple Oracle Cloud modulesProvide thought leadership around industry leading practices for improving operational efficiencies and profitability of client businessLead regular project status meetings for assigned team and actively participate in project’s regular status and/or issues meetingsEncourage teamwork and positive working relationships within the project team for all consultants and client membersSales DutiesOccasionally the need may arise to collaborate with the Sales/Pre-Sales TeamWork with Sales/Pre-Sales Team to develop proposals, product demonstrations, and statements of workAssist in estimating the effort and time required for additional work and other enhancementsMaintain effective relationships with multiple clients and/or vendorsAssist in maintaining a professional market image for Oracle CloudJob RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or TechnologyChartered Accountant or CPA highly preferred10+ years progressive experience in a consulting environment or related industry experience working directly with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Fusion ApplicationsSuccessful experience as an Oracle Cloud lead on at least 3 full life cycle implementationsExperience with business processes around and in implementing the following Oracle Cloud modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Fixed Asset Management (FA), Budgeting, Cash Management and TaxExperience with Multi-Org setup (Set of books, legal entities, operating units)Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a can-do, jump-right-in attitudeWork independently and manage multiple task assignments in a fast-paced environmentInteract effectively with team and with clients through in person meetings, chat, email, phone, and video conferencing as appropriateExcellent verbal and written communication along with strong analytical skillsResolve problems in a timely and effective manner, involving project managers and executive management as appropriateDemonstrate high level computer skills and knowledge in Office 365 environment including Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, Visio, and SharePointJob Locations and SpecificationsRemote from home location in the United StatesAbility to travel nationwide up to 30% to client site
