About the role

The Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor leads and supports a high-performing rehabilitation team within the Connecticut Department of Aging and Disability Services, Bureau of Rehabilitation Services. The role oversees daily operations, guides staff development, reviews casework, and coordinates services to ensure consistent, high-quality client services. This is a full-time, 35-hour per week position based in Bridgeport or Waterbury and is restricted to current ADS employees.
Key qualifications: Master's degree in vocational rehabilitation, counseling, psychology, special education, or related field Five years of experience in vocational rehabilitation career series in a state/public vocational rehabilitation program Two years of experience with Connecticut Department of Aging and Disability Services, Bureau of Rehabilitation Services as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Specialist Supervisory ability and considerable interpersonal skills Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license or Identification Card
