About the role

About the RoleGLD Alloys is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to develop and expand our customer base in the United States.The successful candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with manufacturers and industrial customers, and promoting the company's aluminium alloy products. This position is suitable for a results-driven sales professional with experience in B2B manufacturing, metals, automotive components, die casting, or industrial raw materials.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new customers within the United States.Promote aluminium alloy products to manufacturers, distributors, die-casting companies, automotive suppliers, and other industrial customers.Conduct market research and identify potential customers, industry trends, competitors, and pricing developments.Arrange customer meetings, product presentations, and business discussions.Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and payment terms.Follow up on sales enquiries, samples, quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and customer payments.Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.Work closely with the company's sales, production, logistics, quality, and finance teams.Prepare weekly sales activity reports, customer pipelines, forecasts, and market updates.Attend relevant exhibitions, trade events, and customer meetings when required.Travel within the United States based on business needs.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.At least 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience.Experience in aluminium, metals, die casting, automotive components, manufacturing, building materials, or industrial raw materials is preferred.Strong customer development, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.Ability to work independently and manage a regional sales pipeline.Good commercial awareness and understanding of pricing, margins, and payment risks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.Excellent written and spoken English.Possession of a valid driving licence and willingness to travel.Must be legally authorised to work in the United States.
