Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Fully onsite, five days per week
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Benefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.
Requirements:
2+ years of accounts receivable experience Experience with invoicing, cash applications, and account reconciliation Strong collections and customer follow-up skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Ability to work onsite in Baltimore five days per week Available to begin a contract assignment promptly
Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute customer invoices Apply cash receipts, ACH payments, checks, and credit card payments Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts Research and resolve payment discrepancies Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account balances Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding invoices Assist with month-end close and accounts receivable reporting Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation Partner with accounting and operations teams to resolve billing concerns The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment.
