About the role
SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Clinical Geneticist to join the Division of Medical Genetics at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. This academic opportunity offers clinical care, research, and teaching within a collaborative genetics program at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient genetics services, mentor learners, and contribute to advancing genetic medicine.

Division of Medical Genetics led by Stephen R. Braddock, MD
Team includes Clinical Geneticists, a Clinical Cytogeneticist, a Molecular Geneticist, and eight Genetic Counselors
Access to on-site cytogenetics, molecular genetics, and biochemical genetics labs
State-of-the-art clinical facilities including a Level IV NICU and Level I Pediatric Emergency & Trauma Center
Over 195 beds caring for patients ranging from 0 - 21 years of age
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient and outpatient genetics care
Evaluate and manage genetic and inherited conditions
Participate in multidisciplinary and specialized clinics
Collaborate on prenatal and cancer genetics services
Teach, mentor, and contribute to research and quality improvement
Help advance a comprehensive genetics program

Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Eligible or Board Certified through the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG)
Certification or Active Candidate Status in Clinical Genetics and Genomics
Biochemical Genetics training or certification is welcomed
Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
