About the role
SENIOR DATA ENGINEER – ENTERPRISE DATA MODELINGHYBRID IN PHOENIX, AZ$110,000 – $150,000 BASE + BENEFITSThe Opportunity We're partnering with a large enterprise organization modernizing its data platform and looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong data modeling and engineering expertise. You'll help build the curated enterprise data layer, designing scalable data models that support analytics, reporting, and business operations while remaining hands-on with implementation.
What You'll Do:
- Design and build conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Develop enterprise data models used across multiple teams and business functions
- Analyze source data and assess data quality
- Build dimensional models (facts & dimensions) for analytics and reporting
- Establish data modeling standards and best practices
- Partner with engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Mentor team members on modeling and engineering practices
What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of Data Engineering or Data Warehousing experience
- Strong experience with enterprise data modeling
- Advanced SQL and hands-on data engineering skills
- Dimensional modeling and analytics platform experience
- Experience with data modeling tools (sqlDBM, ER/Studio, Erwin, etc.)Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
- Nice to Havedbt
- Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Data VaultAWS or cloud data platforms
- InformaticaData governance and catalog tools
