About the role
Creative and story-driven, the full-time remote Cinematic Video Editor will transform raw footage into engaging reels, montages, and short films, focusing on cinematic storytelling and thoughtful editing techniques.
Key responsibilities
Edit multi-camera and single-camera footage into 15-60 second vertical reels and 60-180 second brand pieces
Colour grade footage for a consistent, film-like appearance and create engaging visual sequences
Collaborate closely with the CEO and creative team for direction, feedback, and quick iterations
Required qualifications
Portfolio or reel demonstrating narrative, documentary, brand, or story-led editing
Strong colour-grading skills in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere with a Resolve workflow
Ability to find and build B-roll sequences from unsorted footage
Instinct for sound design and understanding of its impact on editing
Motion design or animation skills with the ability to apply them effectively
