We are looking for a driven Final Mile Delivery Manager (FedEx BC) to joing our delivery operations in St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily final mile delivery operations for a FedEx BC (Business Contractor) service area in St. Louis, MORecruit, train, schedule, and manage a team of delivery drivers to meet performance standards
- Monitor route efficiency, on-time delivery metrics, and customer satisfaction scores
- Ensure compliance with FedEx contractor requirements, DOT regulations, and safety protocols
- Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, fleet readiness, and equipment inspections
- Resolve delivery exceptions, customer escalations, and operational issues in a timely manner
- Track KPIs and prepare operational reports to drive continuous improvement
- Coordinate with dispatch and sort teams to optimize daily load and route planning
Requirements:
- Prior experience in last-mile delivery management or 2 plus years FedEx driving Experience, logistics, or transportation operations Familiarity with FedEx Ground or FedEx BC contractor operations strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold accountable a team of drivers
- Strong knowledge of DOT compliance, safety regulations, and fleet management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Proficiency with route management software and delivery tracking systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a results-driven mindset
