PROPOSAL SPECIALIST 3-6 month contract, 40 hours a week. Hybrid for onboarding then fully remote position.

About the Role: Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Must manage multiple priorities simultaneously Self-starter with strong proposal coordination, writing, editing, and document production skills Collaborates directly with technical and operational teams to deliver high-quality, compliant proposal submissions Deep, expert-level command of Microsoft Word required: page numbers, section breaks, formatting, styles, templates, inside and out No coding required
Required Qualifications: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word (non-negotiable) — must be able to independently handle complex formatting, styles, page numbering, section breaks, and document structure Advanced proficiency across Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Outlook, and Teams 3+ years of marketing, proposal coordination, or related experience in a fast-paced professional environment
Preferred Qualifications: A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry experience preferred Strong proposal, SOQ, RFQ, and RFP development experience Exceptional written communication, editing, proofreading, and document quality control skills Excellent organization, time management, and deadline management abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to analyze complex solicitation requirements and ensure compliance Collaborative team player who builds relationships with technical staff, project managers, and leadership Proactive problem solver, adaptable to changing priorities Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications Experience with graphic design, branding, and visual communication Familiarity with Share Point, Smartsheet, and/or Templafy is a plus Key Traits Organized and dependable Adaptable under pressure Strong communicator Detail-focused and quality-driven Resourceful and proactive Comfortable in a collaborative, deadline-intensive environment
