About the role

Dispatcher We are seeking an organized and dependable Dispatcher to coordinate service calls for a commercial HVAC and equipment service company. This position serves as the primary point of communication between customers and field technicians, ensuring service requests are scheduled efficiently and customers receive timely updates.
Responsibilities: Receive and document incoming service requests Schedule and dispatch technicians based on availability, location, and urgency Communicate job details and schedule changes to technicians Provide customers with appointment and service-status updates Prioritize emergency and time-sensitive service calls Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and technician assignments Coordinate with customers, technicians, and internal departments Assist with general administrative duties as needed
Requirements: 1 2 years of dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or related administrative experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple service calls and changing priorities Proficiency with scheduling software, email, and standard office programs Professional and courteous phone manner Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, commercial equipment, or a related service industry is preferred
