Industry: Restaurant / Hospitality We’re working with a growing global restaurant brand that’s looking for a Junior Project Manager to help turn new restaurant locations from plans on paper into places people can actually walk into, eat in and enjoy. You’ll get involved in a bit of everything, working with designers and contractors, keeping timelines moving, coordinating equipment and suppliers, and getting out on-site to see the projects come together. If you’re looking to build your career in restaurant development, enjoy being hands-on and want to learn from people who know the industry inside and out, this could be a really fun opportunity.
What You’ll Do: Help keep restaurant projects moving from the early planning stages right through to opening day Work with contractors, architects, designers and suppliers to make sure everyone is on the same page Help coordinate everything from kitchen equipment and furniture to millwork and other project needs Get involved in site meetings, walk-throughs and progress checks Review plans and drawings and make sure the important details don’t get missed Keep track of budgets, invoices, changes and all the little pieces that keep a project running smoothly Help with final inspections, punch lists and getting the restaurant ready for opening Spot potential issues early and jump in to help get things sorted
About You: Background in construction, project coordination, development or a related fieldA degree in construction, engineering, architecture, facilities or a related field is a plus You can make sense of plans, drawings and project documents Naturally organized and good at keeping lots of moving pieces under controlA confident communicator who is happy to chase an update when something is holding things up Curious, practical and keen to learn You don’t mind getting out of the office and getting stuck in on-site
