About the role

Receptionist - Afternoon PositionPrimary Role:Looking for an individual that creates a welcoming and professional feel for returning clients or those prospective clients that walk-in our offices or are calling looking for assistance. This position would be located in our Xenia office. Schedule would be Monday through Friday, 12:30pm to 5:00pm.Qualifications & Education:Experience and expertise in operating in an electronic environment using excellent automation skillsPossess excellent time management, organizational and communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize work on a constant basisHigh degree of self-motivation and self-directionA minimum of a High School degree or GED is requiredPass a criminal background check due to work with money and financial services industryDuties:Open and close office per Agency guidelines and requirements.Process incoming and outgoing mail to meet timelines for staff and USPS.Interact with walk-in clients and visitors and those that are calling into the office in a professional and courtesy manner and direct them to whomever they are meeting with or find out where they need to be directed to for additional service.Accept customer payments and know how to process the payments with our various companies per Agency guidelines.Work with our clients that are delinquent in paying their insurance premiums and assisting them with information on how best their payments should be made.Help in maintaining a clean and neat office setting by monitoring the front walkways, entry way and front lobby to make sure all trash is picked up.Be an advocate for all departments within the Agency when interacting with clients and provide support and assistance to other departments when necessarySupport the Agency's overall mission within the communities it serves through community and civic involvement.Participate in any special projects at management's request.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
