Key Responsibilities: Create unique custom competitive programming problems that do not appear on existing online judges. Develop reference solutions and comprehensive test suites for each problem. Design and implement accurate, robust C++ checkers for problems with multiple valid outputs. Evaluate submissions against complex problem statements, including those sourced from platforms such as Codeforces. Work with the customer team to refine requirements and resolve ambiguous scenarios. Write maintainable C++ code that efficiently handles varied outputs and edge cases. Document checker logic and communicate technical details and edge cases clearly in writing and conversation. Provide feedback to problem setters and reviewers on test-case and checker improvements. Apply evolving competitive programming standards and best practices to checker development.
Qualifications: Expertise in competitive programming and coding problem analysis. Advanced C++ proficiency, including building reliable checker solutions. Strong analytical ability to interpret complex constraints and multiple solution paths. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment and deliver high-quality, well-documented work under tight deadlines. Prior AI experience is not required.
Preferred: experience as a problem setter, tester, or checker on major competitive programming platforms. Work Terms Remote independent-contractor engagement. Commitment of at least 15 hours per week. Work is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications. Completion time may vary based on experience and workflow. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
