Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The Vice President of PMO is a strategic executive responsible for establishing, leading, and scaling a enterprise Project Management Office across VMC Group. This role ensures disciplined execution of strategic initiatives, capital projects, product launches, operational improvements, and ERP-driven transformation efforts across all business units. The VP of PMO will serve as the central governance leader for enterprise project prioritization, execution standards, resource allocation, and benefits realization ensuring all initiatives are aligned to corporate objectives, operational capacity, and financial targets. This role is critical in driving transformation across manufacturing operations, supply chain modernization, and digital ERP enablement (Epicor/Kinetic environment).Responsibilities Not Limited To:PMO Leadership & GovernanceEstablish and lead an enterprise PMO framework, including methodology, governance standards, and reporting structureDefine project prioritization criteria aligned with corporate strategy and operational capacityCreate standardized tools, templates, and stage-gate processes for all capital and operational projectsOversee enterprise project portfolio management and executive reporting cadenceStrategic Program ExecutionLead cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives across operations, engineering, supply chain, and ITDrive execution of large-scale transformation programs including ERP optimization and process standardizationEnsure successful delivery of capital expansion, facility upgrades, and manufacturing modernization projectsCoordinate interdependencies across multiple concurrent programs and sitesManufacturing & Operational AlignmentPartner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain leadership to ensure project alignment with production capacity and demandSupport plant-level execution of improvement initiatives and capital projectsEnsure PMO integrates with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement effortsAlign project execution with operational KPIs such as throughput, cost, and delivery performanceERP & Digital TransformationOversee project governance for ERP initiatives including system enhancements, upgrades, and integrationsPartner with IT and operations teams to ensure successful adoption of Epicor KineticEnsure data integrity, process standardization, and system-driven accountability across projectsLead digital transformation roadmap execution across manufacturing and back-office systemsFinancial & Portfolio ManagementManage enterprise project portfolio budget, including capital and operational expendituresTrack and report project ROI, benefits realization, and financial performancePartner with Finance to ensure capital requests are aligned with strategic prioritiesOptimize resource allocation across competing initiativesLeadership & Organizational DevelopmentBuild and mentor a high-performing PMO team including program managers and project leadersDevelop project management standards and training programs across the organizationFoster a culture of accountability, execution discipline, and transparencyServe as a key advisor to executive leadership on project feasibility and execution riskRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)12+ years of progressive experience in program/project management leadership5+ years in PMO leadership or enterprise program governance roleExperience in manufacturing, engineered products, or industrial operations strongly preferredProven success leading large-scale transformation or multi-site capital programsStrong ERP implementation or optimization experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.)Deep understanding of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, hybrid models)Key CompetenciesEnterprise program and portfolio managementStrategic planning and execution disciplineFinancial acumen and capital planningCross-functional leadership across Operations, Engineering, IT, and Supply ChainStrong communication and executive stakeholder managementChange management and transformation leadershipData-driven decision making and KPI governance---------------------------------------------------At VMC Group and companies we believe in supporting our employees both professionally and personally.
