Reports to: Operations and Marketing Manager
BioMed ENT is looking for a dependable, hands-on person to help with the day-to-day operation of our Milwaukee office.
We work in a highly regulated medical products industry , which means process, documentation, accuracy and consistency are important in everything we do. The right person must be comfortable following established procedures and understand that even routine tasks such as labeling, packaging, shipping and recordkeeping need to be done correctly every time.
This is not a traditional desk job. We are a small company, and we need someone who is willing to handle a variety of responsibilities and take ownership of keeping things organized and running smoothly.
Responsibilities include
Preparing and shipping small customer orders
Packaging and labeling products according to established procedures
Verifying labels, products and quantities before shipment
Printing shipping labels and preparing shipping documentation
Receiving incoming products and supplies
Helping maintain inventory and keeping products properly organized
Maintaining accurate shipping, inventory and product records
Following established procedures and documentation requirements
Organizing supplies, storage areas and workspaces
General office assistance and basic administrative tasks
Light office cleaning, including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, emptying trash and keeping the kitchen, common areas and office presentable
Assisting the Operations and Marketing Manager with day-to-day office and operational needs
Helping with other tasks as needed
What we're looking for:
We care more about the person than the résumé.
You should be reliable, organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently. You need to be someone who follows a process instead of taking shortcuts.
Because we operate in a regulated industry, attention to detail is critical . If a procedure says something needs to be checked, documented or done a specific way, we expect it to be done that way.
You should also be comfortable working in a small-company environment where everyone helps out. Some days may involve shipping orders and organizing inventory. Other days may involve paperwork, cleaning the office, receiving a delivery or helping with whatever needs to get done.
Basic computer skills are required. Experience with shipping, inventory, office administration, medical products or another regulated industry is helpful but not required. We can teach our processes to someone who is dependable, careful and willing to learn.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
