Job Description: Manufacturing Converting Team Lead North Vernon, IN|Compensation:$70,000–$89,000 Why this role matters Own the performance of a converting line and set the tone for a zero-injury, high-quality shift. Be the catalyst for continuous improvement, using Kaizen to drive safer, faster, better results. Keep people, product, and processes aligned—every hour of a 12-hour shift.
What you will do: Lead, coach, and evaluate hourly team members to hit production goals. Run proactive safety: audits, compliance checks, incident documentation, and near-miss investigation. Enforce quality standards and verify product specifications are consistently met. Deliver on-the-job training focused on safety, quality, and throughput. Partner with HR on payroll processing, personnel/labor issues, and staffing needs. Coordinate shift handoffs with fellow supervisors to ensure seamless communication. Must-have qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. 5+ years of proven production supervision experience (manufacturing preferred). Microsoft Office proficiency; ability to learn new systems quickly. Strong written and verbal communication. Collaborative leader who builds trust with hourly employees, peers, and management. Physically able to lift/carry 25 lbs (and at times more) and remain on your feet around the facility. Preferred Bachelor’s degree. Six Sigma certification.
