Location: Springdale, AR
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Worksite: 100% Onsite
Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMTraining Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM for the first 3+ weeks
Position Overview: We are seeking a Transportation Logistics Customer Service Associate with 1–3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, freight, or related operations. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day transportation activities by coordinating with carriers, drivers, customers, sales teams, and internal supply chain partners to help ensure shipments and deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate dispatch, shipments, pickups, deliveries, and carrier activities. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams. Monitor and track shipments throughout the transportation process. Resolve delivery delays, scheduling issues, and other transportation-related problems. Manage a high volume of emails and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS), dispatch platforms, and scheduling systems to support daily operations. Maintain accurate shipment and transportation records. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and carriers. Coordinate with sales and supply chain teams to address transportation needs. Assist with identifying solutions to operational issues and maintaining smooth delivery operations. Required Qualifications1–3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, freight, or related operations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer-service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent transportation/logistics experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).Experience with dispatch or load-tracking systems. Experience coordinating with carriers and drivers. Knowledge of freight and transportation operations. Previous experience in logistics customer service or transportation coordination.
