Job Summary:
MARS Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of commercial and industrial solar projects from post-contract through completion. In addition to managing projects, this role will oversee and support other Project Managers, helping drive consistency, accountability, and overall project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned projects from post-contract through utility PTOOversee scope, schedule, and budgets across multiple active projectsMaintain accurate project tracking in ERP and internal systemsCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet project timelinesCommunicate with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleReview project schedules, contracts, and key milestones to ensure alignment with project requirementsOversee and support Project Managers across active projectsPromote consistency in project execution, communication, and reportingIdentify risks, delays, and gaps and support resolutionAssist in prioritization and workload balancing across projects and PMsServe as a point of escalation for project challenges impacting timeline, budget, or customer satisfactionTravel to local job sites as needed to support project execution (up to 20%)
Qualifications:
4+ years commercial solar project management experience 4+ years construction management experience 2+ years electrical experienceExperience supporting or mentoring other Project Managers preferredStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking systemsElectrical License strongly preferredValid driver's license and clean MVR required (company vehicle use) Ability to travel to local job sites up to 20%Benefits 401(k) with up to 3.5% matchMedical, dental, and vision, insuranceLife insurance paid for by companyPaid time off + 6 Paid HolidaysCell phone reimbursementFlex Friday- option to work from home on FridaysTeam building events
