PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our global manufacturing client to source and hire a Qualification Engineer I. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity offering the chance to join an innovative organization focused on testing and qualifying advanced products in a highly regulated environment.
About the Role: The Qualification Engineer I will perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental qualification testing of new products, materials, and devices. This is a hands-on laboratory role involving test setup, equipment operation, data collection, and technical reporting. We welcome candidates who are either early-career engineers with testing experience or experienced hardware test technicians looking to grow into engineering-level responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: Execute qualification and compliance testing to industry and customer standards. Set up and operate laboratory equipment including environmental chambers, vibration systems, battery cyclers, power supplies, and oscilloscopes. Develop test procedures, qualification plans, and formal test reports. Collect, analyze, and document test data and results. Support failure analysis and root cause investigations. Coordinate with engineering teams, customers, and third-party testing laboratories.
Qualifications: Associate's degree in engineering technology, Electronics Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.2+ years of experience in product development, qualification testing, compliance testing, or a related laboratory environment. Experience using standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and data acquisition systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and analyze technical data. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
