Reports To: Operations Manager, Chem Station Butler About Chem Station Chem Station has been solving industrial cleaning problems since 1983. We custom-formulate cleaning and maintenance chemicals for each customer's specific needs. Then we deliver them in bulk to refillable containers right at the customer's site, which eliminates wasted drums and packaging. Our network of locally owned locations serves businesses of every kind, from car washes and vehicle fleets to food processors, manufacturers, and institutions. Our Butler location serves customers across [southeastern Wisconsin / the greater Milwaukee area].
Position Summary: The Operations Coordinator keeps our Butler location running smoothly. You'll coordinate production, delivery, and service so customers get the right products and equipment support on time. This is a hands-on role at the center of our operation. You'll work closely with production staff, drivers, service technicians, and the sales team, and you'll have room to grow into greater leadership responsibility over time.
What You'll Do: Coordinate daily production and blending schedules to meet customer orders Plan and manage delivery and service routes for drivers and technicians Schedule installation and maintenance of dispensing equipment at customer sites Serve as a point of contact for customers on orders, deliveries, and service issues Work with the sales team to set up new accounts and keep existing accounts running smoothly Track inventory, order raw materials, and keep records of equipment at customer locations Help schedule and support drivers, production staff, and service technicians Monitor key measures such as on-time delivery, route efficiency, inventory accuracy, and safety Uphold safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA, DOT, and chemical handling requirements Find and put in place ways to improve how we work
What We're Looking For: Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 1–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, distribution, or industrial services preferred Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many moving parts at once Clear communication skills and comfort working with customers and coworkers across departments Self-motivated, dependable, and able to handle a fast-paced, hands-on environment Comfortable with basic computer tools; experience with routing, inventory, or ERP software is a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a production and warehouse setting, and wear required PPEMust be able to travel to Elmhurst, IL for training in the first month or two of training
