Job Summary:
A Property Accountability Specialist job in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD is currently available through Cognizant Government Solutions at one of our key Army clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a high school diploma and at least five years of in Army tactical or enterprise logistics. Experience with the GCSS-Army, ELMS, PIEE/WAWF, and the DoD IUID registry is required. In this role, you will primarily serve as the Property Accountability Specialist for an Army Acquisition Program Office. Requires a deep familiarity with FAR Subpart 45.5 (Support Government Property Administration) and Army Regulations 735-5 and 710-4. This is a very visible contract to hire opportunity with a growing company.
Job Duties
Key Responsibilities:
Review contractor property reports within the PIEE GFP Module to reconcile differences between contractor records and the PMO property book. Draft Government-Furnished Property (GFP) attachments for new production contracts. Maintain daily transactional data entry in ELMS and GCSS-Army. Generate hand receipts, inventory listings, and discrepancy reports for the Government APO's review. Establish and maintain a digital document control register for all property actions. Act as the PMO logistics liaison to coordinate fielding operations with receiving Army Unit Property Book Officers (PBOs).Prepare complete "fielding packets" containing equipment logs, hand receipts, and transfer documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen and currently possess an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the SECRET level
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
5 years of experience in Army tactical or enterprise logistics Must be eligible for, and capable of maintaining, active user accounts in GCSS-Army, ELMS, PIEE/WAWF, and the DoD IUID Registry. Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products and in particular EXCEL spreadsheets
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $85,000 - $95,000.
