About the role

We are looking for volunteers to help at our Saturday morning food distribution every 4nd Saturday of the month. Volunteers will pack groceries into boxes, load food into vehicles, and interact with guests. We are looking for individuals with positive attitudes along with a desire to help their community. We serve a diverse urban population where many different languages and cultures are represented. Come help us serve our neighborhood by giving out food. We would love to have you join our team! Check out our website at https://sourcemn.org/We also have opportunities to volunteer at our food shelf on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! You can find our other listings on Volunteer Match.1 shift available:09:00 to 11:30 CST

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
