Under direct supervision, the Pharmacy Operations Specialist will be responsible for the management of workflow on strategic projects between pharmacy staff and operational staff of the organization This individual creates a collaborative partnership with all areas affected by the scope of the project including executives, senior leadership, business users, business analysts, (IT&S) staff and vendors, particularly the BCBSKS pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) Prime Therapeutics, in accomplishing project objectives Examples would include implementing PBM programs focused on management of specialty prescription drug use, clinical programs, driving efficiency initiatives within the department to realize cost savings, developing departmental policy and procedures, management of department Sharepoint, Teams and Prime Therapeutics channel sites
